Level 1 is not a box to tick on the way to Level 2. Most of what makes body-based work safe happens here, and for a lot of clients the pre-therapeutic phase does most of the work on its own.
Who it is for: accredited or trainee therapists, counsellors and coaches who already see clients. You do not need a somatic background. You do need professional insurance.
Phenomenological Psychology
You will learn to meet clients in their full, subjective, embodied reality — not as a diagnosis or a set of symptoms, but as a living, sensing human being. This orientation is foundational to the InCorr approach.
Interoceptive Attunement
Healing begins inside. Level 1 trains you to work with the body's inner sensory landscape — the felt sense of safety, danger, and self — as the primary medium of therapeutic change.
The Pre-Therapeutic Phase
Rather than diving straight into symptom resolution, this stage invites a slowing down. You and your clients will learn to sense into what lies beneath — creating the conditions in which curative work becomes possible.
The Wrapping Principle
InCorr introduces the universal principle of wrapping and containment as central to safe trauma access. You will leave with a clear, repeatable framework for entering and exiting difficult material with care.
